Senior Lifecycle Acquisition Manager (#2043) with Security Clearance

Description Position Title: Senior Lifecycle Acquisition Manager (#2043) Location: Springfield, VA Clearance Required: Top Secret/SCI Duties and Specific Tasks Include: Coordination, Meetings and Program Management Support: * Provides detailed, day-to-day support for planning and executing contracts. * Supports the IPT co-chairs in development and implementing a contract acquisition strategy. Provides support for development and coordination of all relevant acquisition documentation to include: * Acquisition Plan(s), SOWs and PWs, Request for Information (RFIs). * White papers/background papers related to acquisition strategies. * Source Selection Plan(s). * Governance briefs/supporting documents (Acquisition Governance Council). Provides support coordination and management of governance actions by: * Documenting and tracking Action items, statuses and approvals. * Developing and updating schedules. * Briefing and decision documentation content management. * Generating and coordinating meeting minutes. * Identify acquisition, program issues and communicate impacts to the Government leads. Skills and Required Experience: Required: * Min 12 years overall experience. * Minimum of 8 years of acquisition experience working IT contracts development and execution in the US Government. Desired: * Experience as, or directly supporting, a Contracting Officer Technical Representative. * Understand the DoD or IC Acquisition processes. * Understand the NGA Acquisition processes. * Understand the geospatial intelligence mission and its contributions to the IC Familiar with emerging geospatial technologies and standards. * Familiarity with cloud computing and distributive processing. * Familiarity with commercial content discovery and retrieval services. * Familiarity with GEOINT-related data structures and metadata. * Project management experience in cost, schedule, performance and risk.
