The key goal for this role is to drive and maintain Geopier's leadership position in ground improvement technologies and geotechnical solutions, and to create the future of ground improvement and geotechnical solutions.What You'll DoProvide strategic leadership and oversight for Geopier's geotechnical technologies, methodologies, and design practicesServe as a technical expert and thought leader in geotechnical engineering and ground improvement systemsLead the development, validation, and implementation of new and existing geotechnical technologies and construction methodsEnsure technical consistency, quality, and compliance across projects, designs, and field executionCollaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Commercial teams to support project delivery, complex proposals, and client solutionsSupport research, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance, constructability, and cost efficiencyMentor and develop engineering and technical teams, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and technical excellenceRepresent Geopier in technical forums, client engagements, industry organizations, and professional associations and exhibiting strong presentation skillsStay current on industry trends, codes, standards, and emerging technologies relevant to geotechnical engineering and constructionActive in industry associationsStrong vision for future of geotechnical engineering and geostructural constructionWhat You'll Need10+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering and/or geotechnical construction5+ years of experience in a leadership role, managing technical teams or engineering functionsStrong technical background in ground improvement systems, foundation engineering, and geotechnical designProven ability to translate technical expertise into practical, constructible solutionsDemonstrated experience collaborating across engineering, operations, and commercial teamsStrong interpersonal skills and ability to become a trusted business advisor with key decision-makersDemonstrated ability to develop opportunities and specifications for a value-added product and systemAbility to navigate in a matrixed-organizationMust be highly organized with an ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage a large workload while maintaining a focus on details and a sense of urgency to meet deadlinesAbility to blend strong engineering & technical skills with practical business intuitionAbility to prioritize and manage time around customer/client engagement and administrative tasksExperience with digital tools and technologies for civil and geotechnical engineering applicationsExperience with experimental work for civil and geotechnical engineeringPotential travel of 30-50%Your EducationMaster's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field required.
