Global Procurement Manager

A client of Insight Global is seeking a Senior Manager, Global Procurement to lead strategic sourcing and procurement operations supporting our global manufacturing footprint. This role will drive supplier strategy, cost optimization, and operational excellence while leading a team of buyers and procurement professionals. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership experience, advanced SAP HANA expertise, and a proven ability to manage complex global supplier relationships within a fast‑paced, technology‑driven environment.This position includes international travel and a 3‑month assignment in South Korea to benchmark and align global procurement strategies.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.7+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management with senior‑level buying responsibility.2+ years of leadership experience (direct, indirect, team lead, or mentoring).Proven success leading high‑value supplier negotiations and cost‑saving initiatives.Strong analytical, organizational, and strategic problem‑solving skills.Hands‑on experience with SAP S/4HANA (required).Experience with ERP/MRP systems and procurement platforms (SAP, Oracle, Coupa).Knowledge of VMI, JIT, supply planning, and global sourcing practices.
