Our success stems from a focus on both innovative equipment and meticulous attention to detail.Role DescriptionThe Sales Business Development role is a full-time, on-site position based in Charlotte, NC. This position involves generating leads, conducting market research, identifying growth opportunities, and nurturing client relationships. The role requires communication with clients to understand their needs, providing solutions aligned with Metrolina Landscape’s services, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Collaboration with internal teams will be key to achieving sales and growth targets.QualificationsProficiency in Lead Generation and Market Research to identify and develop new business opportunitiesExcellent Communication skills for client engagement and internal collaborationStrong Customer Service skills to build and maintain client relationshipsAnalytical Skills to assess market trends, customer needs, and business development strategiesProactive and self-motivated with the ability to work effectively on-site in a team-oriented environmentPrior experience in sales or business development, preferably in landscaping, construction, or a related industryBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plusProficiency in using CRM tools and other business development software is an advantageProvides budgets, proposals, change orders etc. for prospective and active projectsReviews contracts for scope of work, contract value, etc.Organizes pre-construction meetings with the associated production managers to review scope, access, schedule, etc.Compiles & maintains project data, budget, plans, specs and other information in accordance with our management systems throughout the duration of the project.Places and coordinates material orders/deliveriesIssues and directs subcontractsCoordinates with Production managers on scheduling and anticipated datesParticipates in routine project meetingsUpdates production of any changes to plans, schedule, orders. Etc as updates are made available.Works with Project admin on necessary billing and other clerical informationCoordinates/introduces Maintenance team for possible maintenance after completion of projects
