Retail Loan Booking Specialist

This role is mainly responsible for inputting retail loans into the loan core system and ensuring that loan files are properly scanned and organized. The position requires a solid understanding of loan documentation, attention to detail, proficiency with computers, the capacity to manage multiple tasks, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.Responsibilities:Book incoming closed loans to our system while checking for accuracyComplete booking loan maintenanceRecord security documents for collateralScan loan documents into our system for file retention and file loan notes.Log and sort incoming mail including our interoffice bags on a daily basis.Work with title companies to secure our final title.Work with lenders to complete and clear exceptions.Log incoming loans and go through incoming mailComplete weekly dutiesPerform other duties as assigned#INDBFCompetencies:Honesty, Integrity and Ethics - to act in a fair and just manner, free from deception; ethics is the ability to be guided by the company's accepted principles of moral conductAccountability - the extent to which an individual is willing to accept responsibilityAdaptability - the extent to which an individual can fit into a changing working environment.Decision Making - the ability to select an effective course of action while controlling resources and expendituresInterpersonal / Customer Oriented - the ability to develop and maintain relationships with others.
