Bench Technician

Bench Technician Seeking for: Radio / Electrical / Electrical Mechanical Technician Responsibilities: The Radio / Electrical Mechanical Technician is responsible for the disassembly, inspect, repair, and overhaul, modifications, and reassembly of a variety of aircraft Radio / Electrical and Electrical Mechanical components. Technician will perform routine, non-routine, and preventative maintenance on all parts of the aircraft according to Component Maintenance Manual and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Ensures that all work is performed in accordance with approved technical data, to customer supplications and regulatory requirements. Uses appropriate inspection techniques, and calibrated equipment for the unit/part being accomplished. Records information and accomplishes the work assignment in compliance with the Inspection and Quality Policies and Procedures. New capability development of repairs received. Comply with all safety directive and maintain a clean and safe work environment. Inspect, repair, overhaul, and modification of radio, electrical, electro-mechanical components to ensure airworthiness. Reads and interprets schematics, drawings, manufacturer and airline instructions, service bulletins, drawings, engineering orders, component maintenance manual (CMM) and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repair, replacement, or modification. Performs troubleshooting on analog, digital, and microprocessor circuits. Electronic theory, competent with the use of hand tools. Proficient with the use of oscilloscope, voltmeter, function generator, pulse generator, ad battery simulator. Test and troubleshoot instruments, components, and assemblies, using circuit testers, oscilloscopes, and voltmeters. Must be capable of using standard tools to include, but not limited to; screwdrivers, wrenches, ratchets and sockets, torque drivers and wrenches, multi-meters, soldering irons, micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, flow meters, psi gauges, temperature measurement, safety wire pliers, or any other tool required for a particular maintenance function. The ability to multi-task and work on several types of components Ability to prioritize and work without close supervision Computer skills, General MS-Excel, and Word Qualifications: Must have: High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of 3 years working experience (Aerospace preferred) A or P License (both preferred but not required) FCC License (preferred but not required) Experience in industry with mechanical aptitude Flexibility to work beyond 40 hours/week as required High School Diploma or equivalent Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Must read, speak, and write the English language
