Printing Press Operator

Well established printing company is seeking experienced Press Operators for their day shift and night shift at their Upper Midwest printing plant. The ideal candidate should be experienced in offset sheetfed printing with a solid track record of printing high quality packaging. Competitive compensation, relocation assistance, and benefits package.ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate a high quality offset sheetfed pressEnsure the proper printing in accordance with specificationsDiagnose and troubleshoot issuesHandle preventative maintenanceExamine job orders and monitor printing processes and qualityProvide guidance and training to junior Press OperatorsFollow and comply with all safety and compliance proceduresQualificationsHigh school degree requiredAt least 3 years of recent hands-on printing press experience as a 1st or Lead Press Operator Ability to commute daily to Sioux Falls, SD or able to relocate to the areaStrong color visual acuity, troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to pass a background check and drug testPrinting experience with Heidelberg, Mitsubishi, Komori, Manroland, or Koenig & Bauer/KBA preferred (folding carton experience a plus)Strong math and measurement skillsAbility to work a twelve hour shift within a 7 day coverage scheduleA strong commitment to quality and safetyPossess mechanical aptitudeAbility to lift 50 poundsAll information kept in strict confidence.
