Job Summary: This HYBRID, Houston based role serves as an executional partner to help further merchandising initiatives by supporting working teams through project intake, planning, and execution. This role is core to supporting our merchandising strategy and driving operational excellence. Essential Responsibilities Develop and manage project charters, milestones, project status and detailed project plans by engaging with cross-functional teams to drive progress. Support day to day project management of merchandising initiatives. Support for merch operations (i.e. Merch Meetings, Product Line Reviews, Joint Business Planning, Master Merch Calendar, etc.) Create and provide the documentation and visualization of merchandising processes to support our high-performance merch organization. Build and present compelling presentations with clear data, insights, and project details. Provide continual follow-up to ensure internal stakeholders are informed and engage on merchandising initiatives. Develop and maintain relationships between departments and internal stakeholders within the company. General aid in project management consultation and facilitation of strategic projects assigned by Supervisor. Complete all required training modules and certifications prior to the due date. Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed to ensure a safe work environment for all. Communicate professionally with all internal and external contacts. Follow all Company policies and execute Company standards on appearance and functionality as well as appropriate brand representation. Communicate any concerns or issues to leadership to ensure proper efficiency of department and company operations. Execute team member performance improvement plans, progressive discipline, and terminations when appropriate per Company policy. Non-Essential Responsibilities Execute Company initiatives and other activities requested by supervisor. Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities. Contribute ideas on ways to optimize or improve the team, the department, and the Company. Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Education Bachelor's Degree required Project Management Certifications preferred Professional Experience 3+ Years experience in project or program management with progressively larger responsibility supporting cross-functional teams. required Proven experience managing projects Experience with project planning applications (Airtable, Power BI, etc.) Skills List Exceptional Communicator Detail Oriented Highly Organized Effective at building cross-functional relationships Multi-Tasker Self-Motivated Ability to meet multiple deadlines Process development and visualization skills Ability to build effective relationships, influence, and collaborate at all organizational levels Competencies & Knowledge Proficient in MS Office Retail Acumen including background in merchandising, planning, or strategic functions Airtable, Power BI, etc. Physical Demands: Office Environment Sitting for up to 8+ hours Standing occasionally Walking occasionally Talking frequently Hearing frequently Usage of hands and fingers Reaching with hands and arms Pay Range: $75,000 -$77,000 Now don’t fall asleep out there… the sooner that we receive your application, the closer you are to the career of your dreams!
