Data Engineer

Set Solutions is on the hunt for a Data Engineer for a client in the telecom space. This role is fully remote and a 6 month contract to hire. This client would like to convert at the end of the contract. Ideally need someone with Azure Data Factory, Blob, Tableau, etc. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deploy data pipelines using Azure Data Factory. Manage and optimize data storage solutions utilizing Azure Blob Storage. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand data needs. Develop ETL processes to transform and load data into data warehouses. Implement data quality and data governance processes. Create data visualizations and dashboards using Tableau. Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure reliability and performance. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data engineering. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Proven experience working with Azure Data Factory and Azure Blob Storage. Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages like Python or PowerShell. Experience with data visualization tools, particularly Tableau. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform. Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka. Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
