Role Description The Security Commander role is a full-time, on-site position located in Cleveland, OH. In this role, the Security Commander will oversee day-to-day security operations, provide leadership and mentorship to the security team, and ensure consistent compliance with protocols and standards. Responsibilities include supervising security personnel, conducting inspections, developing operational strategies, and addressing client-specific security needs. The Security Commander will also work closely with clients to ensure the safety and protection of people, property, and assets. Qualifications Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide security personnel effectively.Strong knowledge of security operations, protocols, and emergency response strategies.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with clients and team members.Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities in dynamic and fast-paced environments.Physical fitness and ability to handle on-site operational demands.Prior experience in a supervisory or command role in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.Valid security license, and any additional certifications relevant to security operations, are highly desirable.Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
