Entry level CNC Programmer

This is a full- time Salary position with a local facility focusing on metal fabrication and electrical power distribution. The perfect candidate for this position would have 1-2 years of CNC operator and programming experience. You must be able to work well with technology and have great attention to detail. This facility is utilizing new Trumpf equipment and nesting software which does not require a vast amount of experience. Advanced training is provided through Trumpf. Salary range is $60,000- $65,000 based on experience and an interview.High school diploma or GED required; technical training or associate degree preferredMinimum 1 year of experience in CNC programming and machine operationProficient in G-code and CAM softwareStrong understanding of materials and machining propertiesAbility to read technical drawings and use inspection toolsExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamJob Duties:Program CNC machines (lathe, mill, bending, cutting, or punching machines) using softwareSet up machines, including tooling, fixturing, and calibrationRead and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&TOperate machines if needed and monitor production to ensure parts meet specificationsPerform in-process inspection using micrometers, calipers, and other precision toolsTroubleshoot and correct machining issues as they ariseMaintain equipment and adhere to safety protocols and quality standardsCollaborate with engineering and quality teams for process improvementsFull range of company offered benefits such as 401k, health, dental, and vision
