Emergency Room Nurse (ER RN)

Job DetailsER RN's treat patients in emergency situations where they are experiencing trauma or injury. They quickly recognize life-threatening problems and are trained to help solve them on the spot. ER RN's treat a variety of conditions from sore throats to heart attacks for patients of all ages and backgrounds. They will stabilize patients experiencing trauma and help minimize pain. ER RN's work in hospital emergency rooms and departments (ER and ED), ambulances, helicopters, urgent care centers, sports arenas, and more. ER's and hospitals are given a Trauma Rating I-III based upon the kinds of resources available in a trauma center, and the number of patients admitted yearly. Level I is the highest (capable of providing total care for every aspect of injury) and Level III (Level-3) being the lowest.Education/Requirements:Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN): 4-Year EducationAssociates Degree in Nursing (ADN): 2-Year EducationYou must earn an ADN or BSN degree and pass the NCLEX to apply for a license as a RN.RN's can only work with an active state license. ***CLN must have ED experience. Booking on as needed basis. Night shift ONLY.
