Control System Engineer

Overview As a Controls Systems Engineer, you will design electrical subsystems for semiconductor manufacturing equipment and guide cross-functional teams to meet electrical requirements. You will specify components, develop control logic for motion and temperature, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. You’ll collaborate with vendors and internal groups to deliver reliable, repeatable products that meet standards. This role offers the chance to shape advanced front-end equipment in a fast-paced tech environment. ResponsibilitiesDesign electrical engineering aspects of semiconductor equipment and subassembliesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define system electrical requirements and resolve issuesDevelop digital/analog signal design, cable harness layout, and safety interlock designSpecify components for electrical control of motion, temperature, and signalsCreate or modify electrical/electronic schematics, layouts, and drawingsGuide PCB design with external vendorsEnsure compliance with RoHS, REACH, SEMI, CE, IEEE, NEC, ANSI/NFPA, ISO/IEC/EN standardsInitiate engineering changes and new product releases impacting the product linePrepare release documentation: schematics, test procedures, BOM, manualsCoordinate with suppliers and development teams to meet technical, cost, quality, and delivery goals Key requirementsExperience in design of electrical/electronic control for semiconductor manufacturing equipmentAbility to work with cross-functional, multicultural teamsKnowledge of analog/digital signal design and cable harnessingExperience with safety interlocks and hardware safety designFamiliarity with standards and certifications (RoHS, REACH, SEMI, CE, IEEE, NEC, ISO/IEC/EN)Experience coordinating with suppliers and internal teams on PCB designDocumentation and release process experienceStrong communication and collaborationProblem-solving and issue-resolution mindsetProactive cross-functional coordinationElectrical engineering designAnalog/digital signal designCable harness design
