This role bridges finance and technology by transforming financial data into actionable insights that improve operational efficiency, support planning, and drive strategic decision-making. This role combines financial analysis, data management, and process optimization to enhance business performance within the FARO INSIGHT business segment. This is an in-office or hybrid role. Some travel required.Core ResponsibilitiesFinancial Analysis & ReportingDevelop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and reports to evaluate historical performance and support forward-looking analysis.Deliver clear, data-driven insights to support business decisions.Budgeting & ForecastingSupport the annual budgeting process and monthly/quarterly forecasting cycles.Monitor performance against plans and highlight key variances.Data Analysis & SystemsPerform variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.Investigate discrepancies and ensure data accuracy and integrity across systems.Strategic PlanningProvide financial insights to senior leadership to inform investment decisions, pricing strategies, and business initiatives.Partner with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with operational execution.Process OptimizationIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.Support the implementation and enhancement of financial systems and tools.Risk ManagementIdentify financial and operational risks and recommend mitigation strategies.Qualifications & SkillsEducationBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.Technical SkillsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, automation).Experience with SQL and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion Financial Management).Familiarity with Business Intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).Exposure to AI-enabled tools (e.g., Copilot) is an asset.Analytical SkillsStrong ability to analyze complex datasets and translate findings into actionable insights.Communication SkillsAbility to effectively present financial information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.CertificationsCPA/CFA or other relevant professional certifications are considered an asset.For more information, please visit http://www.faro.com/CompensationEmployee Type: SalariedSalary Minimum: $85,000Salary Maximum: $110,000Incentive: NoDisclaimer: Where a specific pay range is noted, it is a good faith estimate at the time of this posting.
