Position Overview As a Tax Manager at ERPS Group, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive tax services to high-net-worth clients, guiding them through complex tax decisions, and helping them optimize their financial strategies. From tax advisory to tax preparation and client CFO planning, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of service while mentoring a team of professionals. Your expertise will directly impact the financial success of our clients and help drive the continued growth of ERPS Group. Key ResponsibilitiesTax Advisory Services Analyze the tax implications of business and investment decisions, offering actionable advice on income deferral and tax-efficient strategies. Assist clients with estate and gift tax planning, including wealth transfer and legacy strategies. Present tax plans to new clients during initial meetings, ensuring alignment with their financial goals. Conduct regular TAS (Tax Advisory Services) and CAS (Client Advisory Services) meetings, providing clients with insights on business structure, investments, and retirement planning. Tax Preparation Review, prepare tax returns and sign off, ensuring all necessary forms, schedules, and documentation are accurate and complete. Ensure timely filing and compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws. Amend previously filed returns, as necessary, to correct errors or omissions. Host kickoff calls and review meetings for new and existing tax prep clients, providing proactive guidance throughout the year. Client CFO Planning and Strategy Work directly with clients to develop financial and business strategies that support growth and financial independence. Provide ongoing financial analysis and recommendations to help clients achieve their business objectives. Monitor the success of client strategies and identify opportunities for business expansion. Team Leadership and Development Supervise and mentor junior tax professionals, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks. Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to foster team growth and development. Encourage team collaboration and create a positive, inclusive work environment. Quality Control and Risk Management Ensure the accuracy and completeness of tax workpapers, calculations, and disclosures. Maintain compliance with all relevant tax reporting standards and regulations. Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks related to tax filings and client relationships. Business Development Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell tax services to existing clients, helping them achieve greater financial success. Contribute to the creation of marketing materials, client presentations, and educational content to highlight ERPS Group’s tax expertise. Attend industry events, webinars, and networking opportunities to generate leads and referrals for new business. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Revenue Growth: Achieve annual revenue targets through effective tax planning and client acquisition, with a focus on upselling and cross-selling tax services. Client Growth: Increase the number of new clients acquired each quarter, focusing on high-value, long-term relationships. Client Satisfaction: Maintain a client satisfaction rate of 99%, ensuring clients receive the highest level of service and value. Tax Return Accuracy: Ensure that 95% of returns are completed and filed a month before the due date, with minimal errors and revisions. Team Development: Mentor and develop junior team members, ensuring they are equipped to meet performance goals and deliver top-quality service. On-Time Delivery: Ensure 95% of all tax returns, filings, and tax plans are completed ahead of deadlines, maintaining operational efficiency and client trust.
