Certified Surgical Technologist Location: Everett, WA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,326 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position Job Title: CVOR Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Cardiothoracic Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 17:30 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Pending license accepted Certifications: Required - BLS; Preferred - NBSTSA Must-Have: Weekends required - weekend call shifts are required. Candidates may need to float between like units. First-timers accepted. Description: Candidates must have experience in Cardiothoracic procedures such as CABG, AVR, AAA, MVR, and VATS. They will also be required to support CVL with Carotid cutdowns and laser lead standby. Surgical skills should include general, cardiovascular/thoracic, and laparoscopic techniques. Preferred skills include experience with OB/GYN, Plastic, ENT, Urology, and Robotic surgeries. Candidates will be expected to scrub for cardiothoracic cases and float to the general OR as needed. A quick learner who is willing to assist with learning is highly desirable. Candidate will be part of a busy unit with a daily average surgical case volume of approximately 55. Interdisciplinary support is available in the unit. Flexibility with scheduling is essential due to weekend and on-call requirements. All travelers are expected to float within their skill set across various units. Candidates should have experience with the EPIC charting system. Strong attention to aseptic technique and specimen handling is important. Candidates should be familiar with universal protocols and the use of case carts.
