Job Title: Mechanical Engineer PE Location: Westmont, Illinois Type: Direct Hire Compensation: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 Contractor Work Model: Hybrid – onsite and remote  OverviewThe Mechanical Engineer PE Applies standard engineering techniques to design, analyze, test, maintain, repair, or improve products, components, or assemblies.ResponsibilitiesApply standard engineering techniques to design, analyze, test, maintain, repair, or improve products, components, or assemblies.Sign and seal engineering documents as responsible engineer.Analyze, develop, and evaluate systems, and improve or create new projects.Design and draft blueprints; visit systems in the field; manage projects.Perform work with a high degree of latitude, handle complex issues, and provide leadership, coaching, or mentoring to subordinates.Act as a lead or first-level supervisor when necessary.Interact directly with clients to ensure project requirements are met.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering and Professional Engineer (PE) License.4-8 years of relevant experience.Expert knowledge in the subject matter.Critical thinking, problem-solving, mathematical, and computer skills.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.Excellent multitasking skills and willingness to tackle various tasks outside of scope when necessary.System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
