Summit Skilled Solutions is currently hiring Commercial Electrician for several projectsin and around the Wooster area
Commercial Electrician Job Description:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in commercial settings.
Ensure work complies with relevant codes under supervision of Foremen and Project Managers.
Plan layout and installation based on job specifications and local codes.
Select appropriate tools and equipment for each job, including power tools and testing equipment.
Conduct tests and inspections to evaluate quality and performance.
Troubleshoot and rectify operating errors effectively.
Follow blueprints to ensure correct wiring and equipment placement.
Install conduit and pull wires through designated areas.
Perform physically demanding tasks such as trenching and lifting heavy objects.
Fluent with EMT conduit and some experience with rigid conduit.
Perform power distributions including transformers and panels.
Work independently on large and small wire pulls as required.
Basic knowledge of special systems is necessary.
Maintain a team-oriented environment and interact effectively with customers or the public.
Commercial Electrician Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in commercial electrical work.
OSHA 10 certification preferred but not required.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
Basic hand tools appropriate for the trade.
Experience with power tools is a plus.
Commercial Electrician Compensation and Benefits:
Hourly pay between $26-$30.
Weekly direct deposit.
