RN Telemetry PER DIEM Registry shifts Days or Nights available Montclair, California $574 a shift *Requirements: 1 year of TELE UNIT experience in the last 2 years, AHA- ACLS, AHA-BLS, NIHSS and CPI/MAB/SAAM.* *Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Telemetry Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in telemetry nursing, with the ability to monitor patients' vital signs and respond to emergencies effectively. This role requires excellent communication skills, a compassionate approach to patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. *Responsibilities* * Monitor patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs using telemetry equipment. * Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to protocols. * Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical history reviews. * Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. * Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment options. * Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. * Participate in emergency response situations, utilizing critical thinking skills to manage patient care effectively. * Assist with procedures such as IV infusion, catheterization, and phlebotomy as needed. * Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques during patient care activities.
