AWS Cloud AI Software Developer

Title: Cloud AI Software Developer Location: RemoteDuration: 6 months plusPosition Summary:We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud AI Software Developer to design, develop, and deploy cloud-native, AI-powered applications on AWS. The ideal candidate has a strong background in modern software development, cloud architecture, and Generative AI technologies, with experience building scalable applications using AWS services, AI development frameworks, and modern DevOps practices. This role will work closely with product owners, architects, DevOps engineers, and AI/ML teams to deliver innovative enterprise AI solutions.Required Qualifications:Hands on experience developing applications on AWS.AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate preferred (Professional certification is a plus).Strong experience with:AWS cloud servicesAmazon BedrockAWS KiroGitHub ActionsPythonShell scripting (Bash)TypeScript/JavaScript.NET (C#/.NET Core/.NET 8+ preferred)Experience developing RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications.Understanding of cloud architecture patterns, security, and scalable application design.Experience with Git and collaborative software development workflows.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Amazon SageMaker.Experience using GitHub Copilot (Codex) or similar AI-assisted coding tools.Experience with Claude Code for AI-assisted software development.Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or AWS CloudFormation).Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or Amazon EKS.Knowledge of serverless application development using AWS Lambda.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications on AWS using modern software engineering best practices.Build and integrate Generative AI applications leveraging Amazon Bedrock and AWS Kiro.Develop APIs, microservices, and backend services using .NET and/or TypeScript/JavaScript.Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) into enterprise applications while ensuring security, scalability, and performance.Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to deploy and consume AI models using Amazon Bedrock and, when applicable, Amazon SageMaker.Develop automation scripts and utilities using Python and shell scripting.Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to automate testing, deployments, and infrastructure provisioning.Utilize AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot (Codex) to improve developer productivity.Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to cloud-native solution design.Troubleshoot application issues, optimize performance, and implement security best practices.Create and maintain technical documentation, API specifications, and deployment guides.Stay current on AWS services, Generative AI technologies, and modern software development practices.
