Nurse Practitioner | Family Practice Location: Washington Employer: Barton Associates Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 3 days x 12 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 39-day assignment in Washington, starting May 11, 2026. This role involves working 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts, providing comprehensive primary care within a sole practitioner family practice clinic. You will manage a diverse patient population, addressing follow-ups, new patient visits, acute needs, and chronic disease management, including physicals, diabetes, and hypertension. Responsibilities and Duties Work 3 days per week with 12-hour shifts, 7 AM to 7 PM. Manage clinic time from 7 AM to 6 PM, dedicating 6 PM to 7 PM for administrative duties. Serve as a sole practitioner in a family practice clinic. Conduct follow-ups, new patient visits, and address acute patient needs. Diagnose and treat common ailments like colds, coughs, and flu. Perform physicals and routine patient visits. Provide care for chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension. Care for an established patient population, some of whom may have had a provider on extended leave, as well as unestablished and new patients. Additional Information Board Certification in Family Medicine is required. The Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system used is Cerner.
