Data Center Logistics Associate

Data Center Logistic AssociateAs a Data Center Logistic Associate, you will support material flow and inventory operations within a mission-critical data center, you will manage the secure, accurate movement of IT hardware in high-security and clean-room environments. You will oversee receiving, staging, tracking, and distribution activities while maintaining inventory accuracy and safety standards. You will partner with technical teams to support server deployments, hardware replacements, and ongoing data center operations. Responsibilities: Manage delicate, high-value technical equipment requiring precise, white-glove handling, frequently includes "last mile" installation (e.g., placing servers in racks) Receive, log, and process inbound shipments, including verifying quantities and condition of materials Prepare, pack, label, and stage outbound shipments, including assembling packing lists and loading trucks Verify supplier returns and enter order receipts into inventory systems Relocate, consolidate, and organize materials within storage and staging areas Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation, including logs, bills of lading, delivery receipts, and invoices Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely availability of materials Coordinate transportation and deliveries between storage locations and data center facilities Communicate with internal technical teams, vendors, and logistics partners to ensure timely and efficient material movement Identify opportunities to improve logistics, inventory, and material-handling processes Assist with other logistics-related duties as needed Qualifications: High School Degree or equivalent required; Bachelor's preferred 1-3 years of experience in logistics or a related field Ability to strictly adhere to security protocols and safety standards for handling equipment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Familiarity with IT infrastructure, networking components (servers, switches, cables), and specialized inventory software preferred; specializing in logistics software and systems preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed Knowledge of transportation regulations and procedures Basic computer and problem-solving skills preferred Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to be on your feet for extended periods Willingness to operate warehouse equipment, including power equipment Compensation Details: $25.00 - $30.00 Per Hour About the Team: At Wesco, we build, connect, power and protect the world.
