The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and health of core Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Intune, and AVD. This role involves managing and optimizing device compliance, configuration profiles, and application protection policies in Intune, as well as administering M365 tenant settings and executing operational automation using PowerShell scripts. The VP will also lead the troubleshooting and resolution of complex service issues, enforce security policies, and support the integration of M365 services with on-prem Active Directory, Entra ID, Azure, and security platforms. Applicants must have at least 12 years of total IT experience, with a minimum of 5 years in M365 operations, and possess deep technical knowledge of the relevant Microsoft 365 services. Proficiency in the Microsoft Defender suite, Purview Compliance, and Entra ID security controls is required, along with advanced PowerShell scripting skills. Experience in managing hybrid identity setups, understanding of Zero Trust concepts, and relevant Microsoft certifications are highly preferred. The role also demands experience with Microsoft Sentinel or other SIEM tools, as well as familiarity with API integrations or Graph API for M365 automation.
