Experienced Parts Manager - Buick GMCJeff Wyler Florence Buick GMC is seeking an experienced, driven, and detail-oriented Parts Manager to lead and elevate our Parts Department at a well-established, family-owned franchise dealership. This role is critical to overall dealership profitability, supporting both Fixed Operations and Wholesale growth while ensuring operational excellence, inventory accuracy, and superior internal and external customer service.The ideal candidate is a proven leader with strong financial acumen, deep understanding of automotive parts operations, and a track record of increasing gross profit, improving turn rates, and building high-performing teams.Key Responsibilities, Department Leadership & PerformanceOversee all aspects of Parts Department operations including retail, wholesale, and internal service supportLead, coach, and develop parts staff to drive productivity, accountability, and customer satisfactionEstablish and monitor departmental KPIs including:Gross Profit & GP%Inventory TurnsFill Rate & First-Time AvailabilityObsolescence & ShrinkageCollaborate closely with Service and Sales departments to maximize internal capture and efficiencyInventory & Financial ManagementMaintain optimal inventory levels to balance availability with cash flowImplement and manage parts pricing strategies and matrix optimizationMonitor and control obsolescence, returns, and write-offsEnsure accurate bin counts, cycle counts, and annual physical inventory processesAnalyze financial statements and departmental reports to drive profitabilityWholesale & Business DevelopmentGrow and manage wholesale parts business through strategic pricing and relationship managementDevelop competitive programs for independent repair facilities and body shopsEnsure timely deliveries, accurate orders, and high service levels for wholesale accountsProcess & ComplianceMaintain OEM compliance and standards for parts operationsEnsure all warranty parts returns, cores, and vendor processes are handled properlyImplement efficient workflows using dealership systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar)Maintain a clean, organized, and professional parts departmentJeff Wyler Benefits: Our team members enjoy a positive working environment with opportunities for professional growth through training and advancement from within the organization.Competitive hourly compensation based on experience level.Vacation and holiday pay.Medical, dental, vision, 401K, Life, and more!Stable work with growth opportunities.Ongoing training and development.A positive and professional atmosphere.Minimum 3–5+ years of experience as a Parts Manager or Assistant Parts Manager in a franchise dealershipStrong knowledge of OEM parts operations, inventory control, and pricing matricesProven track record of improving gross profit, inventory turns, and departmental efficiencyExperience with dealership management systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Tekion, etc.)Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skillsFinancial acumen with ability to analyze reports and drive resultsAll applicants must demonstrate the ability to pass pre-employment testing, including a background check, MVR, and drug screening.The company is an equal opportunity employer.
