Street Team Brand Ambassador

Position OverviewBlenders Eyewear is seeking energetic, outgoing Street Team Brand Ambassadors to represent the brand across San Diego's beach communities. This role is focused on driving brand awareness, engaging with customers in-market, and increasing traffic to our Cass Street retail store through grassroots, high-energy activations.Street Team members will act as the face of the brand in high-traffic lifestyle environments including Pacific Beach, Mission Beach, La Jolla, and surrounding areas.Schedule RequirementsRequired Availability: Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays3 - 4 hours per dayPeak traffic windows (late morning through sunset)Program runs May - August (summer seasonal role)Key ResponsibilitiesBrand Engagement & AwarenessRepresent Blenders Eyewear in high-traffic beach and community areasEngage directly with locals, tourists, and beachgoers in a fun, approachable, high-energy wayEducate customers on the Blenders brand, product, and store experienceEncourage visits to the Cass St retail locationActivation & PromotionDistribute promotional swag (stickers, towels, sunscreen, etc.)Drive QR code engagement tied to:Store offersPromotionsEmail/SMS captureSupport pop-up or mobile activation setups when neededContent & SocialCapture social media content (photos, videos, UGC moments)Create authentic, lifestyle-driven brand moments in the fieldSupport influencer or community interactions when applicableBrand RepresentationWear full Blenders apparel and eyewear while on shiftMaintain a positive, professional, and on-brand presence at all timesWork RequirementsAbility to walk, stand, and work outdoors for extended periodsComfortable approaching and engaging with large volumes of peopleComfortable with being on/talking to cameraStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and bring energy to each shiftReliable transportation to beach locations preferredIdeal Candidate ProfileOutgoing, energetic, and confident personalityComfortable engaging with strangers in a natural, fun wayStrong interest in brand marketing, social media, or eventsFamiliarity with San Diego beach communities and culturePrior experience in retail, events, promotions, or brand ambassador roles is a plusProgram OverviewStreet Team Brand Ambassadors will support a San Diego Beach Market Brand Awareness Initiative focused on:Pacific BeachMission BeachMission BayBelmont ParkOcean BeachLa JollaThe goal is to create a consistent, visible brand presence in the communities where our customers live and spend their weekends.PerksCompetitive hourly rateFree Blenders sunglassesFun, high-energy work environmentOpportunity to gain experience in retail marketing + brand activationsAdditional NotesThis role is an extension of our retail experience outside the store, similar to how our Shade Specialists represent the brand in-store, but focused on driving awareness and demand in the community.Work Requirements:Must be flexible with weekly schedule and be available to work weekends Disclaimer:The above job description is meant to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
