Job Description: The department runs 24 hours per day, 5 days per week. Occasional weekend work. The Manager is responsible for establishment of work schedules for all shifts, completion of required documentation…batch and employee related, schedule adherence, training needs, departmental work instructions and fruit quality guidelines.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of the department operations to include the following.
Productions efficiencies
Ingredient usage and documentation
Batch Folder information
Completion of essential daily documentation
Supervisor training / Personnel Development
GMP training, implementation and follow up
Fruit Quality
Departmental Safety
Update Daily, Weekly, Monthly scorecards.
Daily communication with other managers/departments to ensure process control and smooth hand off from department to department
DEPARTMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordination with maintenance on machine operation and issues related to downtime of equipment.

Inspection Equipment
Testing Equipment
Process Flow
Department ventilation
Monitoring systems
Forklifts
All Department related documentation
Work with QA to ensure fruit quality is acceptable, and fruit complies with predetermined specifications

Employment Requirements:
Business related degree or equivalent experience
Must be able to read and write English
Must be able to work with spreadsheets and become proficient in current operating system and Outlook.
5 years supervisory/managerial experience
Must be self-motivated
Must have good communication skills
Must be able to communicate up and down the organization from production to management.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to work in a humid wet environment
Must be able to be on your feet 6-8 hrs. per day
Working Conditions:
Works in all environments. Hot, cold, and humid.
Office computer work
Goes in and out of production buildings on daily basis
