Systems Engineer - Safety Integration

Overview In this role you will join the Safety Integration Team within Lockheed Martin Space to weave safety into program lifecycle. You will coordinate with System Safety Engineering and IPT leads to keep safety top of mind across the FBM portfolio. You’ll lead Safety Review Boards, assemble cross-disciplinary SMEs, and ensure milestones and entrance/exit criteria are met. This position offers the chance to shape safety integration for next‑gen missile systems and work closely with Navy counterparts and senior leadership. You’ll drive robust safety processes that enable timely, impactful decisions.
