This is not a back-office planning role — it's a client-facing development seat designed for an emerging advisor who wants to grow into a lead advisor over time.From day one, you'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with senior advisors on sophisticated client relationships, participate in meetings and planning, implement investment and financial planning strategies, and follow a structured ramp toward building your own client base.Early Responsibilities:Client Support & Advisory DevelopmentParticipate in client meetings alongside senior advisorsHelp prepare financial plans and recommendationsSupport ongoing client service and planning updatesGradually take on more direct client responsibilityPlanning & Technical WorkBuild and update financial plansRun scenario analyses and projectionsSupport tax-aware and after-tax planning strategiesCoordinate implementation across investments (public and private) and planningAdvisor Team IntegrationSupport one or more senior advisors as a servicing or support advisorParticipate in client reviews and planning coordinationDevelop into hybrid lead/servicing roles over timePotential to ultimately build or join a dedicated advisor teamQualifications 3–8+ years in wealth management or financial planningExperience supporting or leading client relationshipsSome portable assets or ability to transition relationships preferred (~$5–20MM ideally)Strong communicator and relationship builderTechnically capable and detail-orientedAmbitious but team-orientedFocused on long-term career development, not short-term movesBachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related fieldSeries 65 required, or ability to obtain quicklyCFP® certification or progress toward certification is a plusLocationLos Angeles (in-office preferred). Some flexibility may exist for exceptional candidates.
