Medical Assistant We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The Medical Assistant will play a crucial role in providing clinical and administrative support to our healthcare providers, ensuring the delivery of excellent care to our patients.Essential Duties & Responsibilities Facility EngagementAct as a community liaison between key stakeholders (nursing, sales, wellness, and leadership)Be attentive to the facility's needs and communicate back to the team.Patient EngagementCoordinate care between (specialists, therapy, home health, and other ancillary services)Assist with front desk duties, including appointment management, scheduling, and other related duties.Monthly outreach with residents/families to assess needs and coordinate care consistent with the provider's care plan.Connect patients with local/regional social support services.Clinical FunctionsGreet each patient, family member, and staff member with a smile.Take vital signs, room patients (if in a clinic), and help prepare them for their visit.Coordinate after-visit coordinationComplete all diagnostic testingManage and complete all quality assurance monitoring.Qualifications Outgoing individual who loves interacting with peopleOrganized and effective communicatorExperience working as a medical assistant in a healthcare setting, preferably in a geriatric or senior care environment.Proficient in Microsoft OfficePositive attitude and strong interpersonal skillsPassionate about helping othersHighly organizedWillingness to learn and be a part of something great
