I am hiring a DevSecOps Engineer on behalf of a German cyber-security consulting and service company focused on cyber defense and security, helping organisations detect, defeat and prevent cyberattacks through professional services, automation, and research-driven solutions. In this role you will be responsible for
Design, build and manage secure, scalable infrastructure solutions, including complex cluster architectures and automated workflows.
Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams such as cybersecurity specialists, ML engineers, and consultants to deliver integrated technical solutions.
Develop and implement automation solutions using Ansible, GitOps, and related tools to streamline DevOps and DevSecOps processes.
Support continuous improvement of security processes and tooling, driving DevSecOps best practices throughout development and operations.
Provide hands-on technical contribution, taking ownership of initiatives and working autonomously while contributing to team success.
This role is remote in Germany.
Essential
Hands-on experience in DevSecOps or related engineering roles, with practical skills in cloud and security-driven automation.
Strong expertise with Kubernetes and cluster architecture, as well as familiarity with DevOps automation tools (e.g., Go, Python, Ansible, GitOps workflows).
Ability to creatively solve problems and independently drive technical topics forward.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain security issues clearly to technical teams and stakeholders in both German and English – minimum C1 level German .
Analytical and structured approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement of security practices.
