The CFO will oversee all aspects of financial planning, reporting, and budgeting to drive the company’s financial strategy. Daily responsibilities include preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing financial reporting processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing analytical insights to guide decision-making. The CFO leads the finance function through effective hands on management of internal and outsourced resources, fostering a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement. This role requires a strong understanding of the financial dynamics unique to the organization, including nonprofit accounting, construction accounting, retail operations, and mortgage lending. Leadership and strategic planning will be essential to this role. Compensation package includes excellent benefits, generous PTO, base comp 120K+ (negotiable based on experience).QualificationsExpertise in Financial Planning, Financial Statements, and FinanceDemonstrated understanding of construction accounting, retail operations, and mortgage lending or similar multi-faceted operating environmentsProficiency in Financial Reporting and compliance standardsStrong Analytical Skills for identifying trends and business opportunitiesLeadership experience with the ability to guide cross-functional teamsExcellent communication and decision-making abilitiesAdvanced degree MBA in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; CPA is a plusProven experience in a senior financial leadership role, ideally within corporate environmentsTechnology and data-driven mindset with experience in financial software and systems
