Painter/Screener
Job PostingSpray painting and silk screening parts to meet production schedules. Responsible for preparing and mixing paints and inks with proper thinner to the proper viscosity.Job DutiesOperates and maintains screening tables, oven, screen cleaning station, paint booth and ovens.Prepares parts to be screened and painted.Fills out a "Request For Material" slip when material is needed. Gives slip to material handler.Screens parts using screening table, screens, and ink tools. Paints parts using paint booth per approved color matches.Inspects completed product for completeness and correctness as defined by the drawing and job paperwork.Maintains inventory of inks, paints and other supplies as necessary.Fills out a purchase requisition form for more supplies when necessary.Under the guidance of the Plant Manager, insures that work is being performed per the schedule.Maintains a clean and safe working environment.Handles parts with due care so as not to damage.Always uses safety equipment, a hood or respirator, for ventilation when performing paint functions.Will also replace or request supplies for hood or respirator as needed.Skills and RequirementsWet Coat Painting Experience in a manufacturing settingEducation Experience: A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.National background check requiredFrequently lift and/or move up to 45 poundsBenefits Once Hired In!Health, Dental, Vision and Life InsuranceShort and Long Term Disability401K Retirement PlanFlexible Spending AccountsPaid Vacation & HolidaysEducational Assistance*This is a drug-free workplace.
