This role combines technical design expertise with sales acumen, ideal for someone with a strong background in hardscape design and experience in managing projects on complex terrain. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving our mission forward by delivering exceptional design services and spearheading sales initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Conduct initial client consultations, taking detailed notes and measurements to capture the scope and vision of each project.Develop quick mockups for client approval and refine designs into detailed schematics and renderings using advanced CAD software and rendering tools.Prepare accurate estimates using sustainable materials sourced from local providers.Manage the full sales process from initial contact through to contract signing, ensuring a smooth and professional client experience.Work closely with the construction crew to ensure design specifications are executed accurately.Maintain flexibility to schedule client meetings and manage projects with a high degree of autonomy.Requirements:Proven experience as a Landscape Architect or Designer, with a portfolio showcasing expertise in ecological and hardscape design.Strong proficiency in CAD software and rendering tools.Excellent communication skills, charismatic and professional demeanor, and a passion for sustainable design.Ability to work remotely and travel to client sites as needed. Must have reliable transportation.Experience in the end-to-end sales process, from client consultation to contract closure.Entrepreneurial spirit, with the ability to work closely alongside the company owner and contribute to business growth.Compensation and Benefits:Competitive hourly rate of $40 (depending on experience) plus a 3% commission on sales with signed contracts.Eligibility for full benefits package within the next few months, contingent upon company sales performance.Opportunities for Growth:This part-time position has the potential to transition into a full-time role based on successful sales and business growth.
