(NASDAQ: IEP).Position Summary The Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and replacing automotive parts and systems while delivering excellent customer service. This position involves direct customer interaction and performing a wide range of automotive repairs. The role is designated as safety-sensitive.Duties & Responsibilities Diagnose and repair vehicles accurately and efficientlyProperly care for and secure vehicles during servicePerform repairs including:BrakesSteering and suspensionDrivability and emissionsElectrical systemsHVACMaintenance servicesMajor engine repairsFollow a "do it right the first time" philosophyLimit comebacks to no more than two within a four-week periodMaintain at least 90% productivityComplete 100% of required trainingComply with company policies, procedures, and safety standardsMaintain required certificationsServe as a technical resource for team membersDemonstrate strong customer focus, integrity, and communicationPerform other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills & Abilities High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 6 months' experience as a certified technician or mechanicFour ASE certifications required:BrakesSteering & SuspensionTwo additional ASEs (A1, A6, A7, A8, or L1)Additional ASE certifications encouragedASE-equivalent certifications may be consideredRequired ASEs must be completed within two testing cycles (testing fees prepaid)Strong problem-solving and technical interpretation skillsStrong customer service and verbal communication skillsAbility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidaysPhysical Demands / Work Environment Ability to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsFrequent bending, reaching, and kneeling requiredAbility to communicate effectively and use computersAbility to read small print and safely operate vehiclesReasonable accommodations may be madePrecision Tune Auto Care is an equal opportunity employer.
