Tech Transfer Equipment Design Engineer (Fill-Finish / Aseptic Systems)
Overview:Our client is seeking an Equipment Design Engineer to support critical gaps in filling assembly fit-up and process design. This role will work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to translate Critical Process Parameters (CPPs) into practical, scalable equipment solutions. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in filling systems, fluid dynamics, and process engineering within a regulated environment.Key Responsibilities:Translate CPPs into equipment design requirements, defining how processes will be measured, controlled, and achievedDesign and optimize filling assembly systems based on product fill speeds and liquid properties (e.g., viscosity, flow characteristics)Determine appropriate tubing sizes, materials, and connection types to ensure efficient and compliant fluid transferSupport fit-up and integration of filling assemblies within production environmentsCollaborate cross-functionally with process engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure alignment with operational goalsTroubleshoot and optimize existing systems to improve performance, reliability, and throughputContribute to design documentation, specifications, and validation readinessRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Biomedical Engineering (or related field)5+ years of experience in process engineering, equipment design, or manufacturing engineeringHands-on experience with fill-finish / aseptic filling / liquid handling systemsStrong understanding of fluid dynamics, flow behavior, and viscosityExperience with tubing systems, fluid transfer, or single-use systemsExperience working in a GMP / FDA-regulated environment
