CNC Machinist
Job DescriptionIf you're just loading parts and hitting cycle start - this isn't that job.We're looking for machinists who can actually set up, read prints, work with tooling, and take ownership of their work.This is a hands-on role in a shop that values quality, problem-solving, and people who know what they're doing.Responsibilities:Set up and operate CNC and manual mills and lathesRead and interpret blueprints and GD&THandle tooling, fixtures, and job setupsMake program edits as needed (Mastercam is a plus)Perform inspection using micrometers, calipers, and gaugesMaintain machines (coolant, oiling, general upkeep)Work with shop leadership to complete jobs on time and correctlyRequirements:3+ years of CNC experienceStrong setup experience (not just operating)Experience with controls such as Fanuc, Mazak, Okuma, Haas, or SiemensAbility to read prints and understand tolerancesExperience with lathes, mills, or multi-axis machiningPreferred (Nice to Have):5-axis or multi-axis experienceMastercam or CNC programming exposureExperience with tight tolerance / complex partsJob shop or prototype experienceWhy This Role:Not a production-only role - real involvement in setups and machiningOpportunity to work on complex and varied partsClean, organized shopTeam-oriented environmentGrowth into programming and advanced machiningApply confidentially at jay.petsche@gogpac.comCNC Machinist, CNC Setup Machinist, Manual Machinist, Lathe, Mill, Mazak, Okuma, Haas, Fanuc, GD&T, Blueprint Reading, Tooling, Fixtures, Mastercam
