The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, and experienced across Windows, Linux, networking, cloud platforms (AWS preferred), and automation.You will collaborate with security, engineering, and operations teams to ensure reliability, performance, and compliance across all environments.Responsibilities:Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions, selecting and right-sizing services to meet diverse enterprise workload requirementsImplement and maintain infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)Advise stakeholders on appropriate architecture patterns for different business and technical needs, balancing performance, security, scalability, and costAssist with cloud cost optimization as a core practiceHelp establish and maintain comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting using dashboards and proactive alerts for system health and anomaliesAssist with security and compliance across cloud resources based on security recommendations and current best practices while aligning with financial industry regulatory requirementsSupport deployment and operation of AI infrastructure components in collaboration with the AI Engineering teamLeverage AI development tools (Cursor, Claude, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate IaC authoring, troubleshooting, documentation, and code reviewHelp conduct thorough reviews of cloud infrastructure configurations produced by consultants, external vendors, automated tools, and validate AI-generated infrastructure code for quality, security, and business alignmentAssist with establishing and enforcing cloud architecture standards, documentation requirements, and technical best practicesSupport backup, disaster recovery, and high availability strategiesOther duties as assignedQualifications:Must Have:3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud engineering, or systems engineeringFamiliarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as TerraformStrong experience with AWS or other cloud platformsFamiliarity managing Windows and Linux systemsGood understanding of networking fundamentalsKnowledge of automation and scriptingExperience with monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting distributed systemsStrong understanding of security best practices and complianceExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsPreferred:Experience deploying and supporting nested virtualization environments at the enterprise levelKnowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelinesExperience in financial services or other highly regulated environmentsCertifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator or similarSalary Range: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00Cross River is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
