Full Stack EngineerLocation: Remote, United States or Canada (West Coast working hours)Employment Type: Full-timeCompensation: Starting at $130,000+We are looking for a hands-on Full Stack Engineer who enjoys building end-to-end products, collaborating closely with cross-functional partners, and using modern tooling to ship high-quality software quickly. This role is well suited for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments and values strong technical decision-making as much as execution.As development velocity increases through AI-assisted workflows, this role focuses on designing scalable systems, making pragmatic tradeoffs, and shipping production-ready solutions that hold up over time.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive implementation of core product features and contribute to system design decisionsTranslate ambiguous problem spaces into scalable, production-ready solutionsDesign and build backend services, APIs, and event-driven systemsWrite high-quality, maintainable code across frontend and backend systemsCollaborate closely with Product, Design, Data, and Engineering partners to align on technical directionBalance speed, scalability, and maintainability through thoughtful engineering tradeoffsImprove system reliability through testing, observability, and performance optimizationParticipate actively in code reviews as both author and reviewerUse AI-assisted development tools to prototype, build, and debug efficientlySupport general engineering efforts as neededQualificationsBachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience3+ years of experience building and shipping production softwareStrong fundamentals in backend architecture and system designExperience working in fast-paced environments with evolving requirementsBias toward shipping, learning from real user feedback, and iterating quicklyStrong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively across teamsExperience building or integrating AI-powered systems or workflows is a plusPreferred Tech StackPython, FastAPI, async backend systems, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, Redis-based event-driven systems, React, TypeScript, modern frontend tooling and component libraries, REST and GraphQL APIs, query-based state management, schema validation, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native infrastructure.
