Software Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!The Role• Develop production software for initializing and monitoring advanced machine learning acceleration servers.• Work with hardware, test, and manufacturing teams to create integrated software packages for qualification and deployment.• Design and implement software in C, C++, Python, or Lua, focusing on maintainability, reusability, and testability.• Engage with system-level technologies including accelerator chip initialization, clock/voltage setup, and device drivers.• Focus on data paths, PCIe, SPI, I2C, and accelerator internals for physical systems executing ML algorithms.What You'll Need• 3+ years of professional software development experience.• 2+ years of experience in designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.• Proficiency in at least one programming language.• Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.What's On Offer• Competitive annual salary ($143,700 - $194,400) plus potential for sign-on payments and stock units.• Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.• Opportunities for mentorship, career growth, and development in a supportive team environment.• Exposure to cutting-edge hardware and software for machine learning acceleration.Apply via Haystack today!
