As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing software applications in the automation and controls market. Your focus will primarily be on Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's) and Human Machine Interfaces (HMI's) for the municipal water and wastewater industry.Job DescriptionIn the role of PLC/HMI Programmer, you will play a critical role in project development by creating and implementing effective PLC and HMI programming solutions. Your day-to-day tasks will involve writing PLC code, developing HMI graphics, working with networking and telemetry systems, facilitating remote access for control systems, and providing troubleshooting support to our customers. This includes working on projects and demand services related to control panels, instrumentation, motor control centers, and performing custom modifications to existing control systems. While you will have autonomy in your work, you will also collaborate within a supportive team environment, ensuring assistance is available when needed. This role entails providing on-site support to our customers, involving approximately 75% daytime travel within the Minnesota Territory and 20% overnight travel within the Midwest. Clear expectations for travel are a key aspect of this position.QualificationsTo thrive in this position, you must possess a strong proficiency in programming Allen Bradley PLC's and HMI's. Experience with the Allen-Bradley Logix PLC platform, PanelView, and Wonderware HMI programming is essential. As a self-motivated individual, excellent time management and communication skills are a must.
