Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all agesManage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visitsPerform procedures including suturing, I&Ds, splinting, and wound careOrder and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imagingProvide clear patient education and discharge instructionsDocument care accurately and efficiently in the EHRMaintain productivity aligned with urgent care benchmarks Required Qualifications Active, unrestricted Texas license (NP or PA)Board certification (ANCC/AANP or NCCPA)Active DEA license (or ability to obtain)Active BLS certificationAbility to treat patients of all agesEHR proficiencyWillingness to work occasional weekends and holidaysDOT certification required or willingness to obtain (fees covered) Preferred Qualifications Urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast-track experienceStrong procedural skills (suturing, splinting, wound care)Experience with initial X-ray interpretation Benefits Medical, dental, and vision coverage401(k)Malpractice coverageCME/licensure reimbursementPTO and sick time About NextCare NextCare is one of the nation s largest urgent care providers, with over 160 locations across 11 states.
