Design Estimator

Appleone is looking for askilled and driven Estimator/Project Managerto join our clients team. In this role, you will play a key part in thepre-construction and bidding process, helping bring projects to life through accurate cost estimating, strategic planning, and effective collaboration.This position is ideal for a construction professional who enjoysboth the analytical and leadership sides of project delivery. You will work closely with project managers, clients, architects, and subcontractors to develop reliable estimates, identify opportunities for cost savings, and ensure projects are positioned for success from the very beginning.The ideal candidate has astrong background in construction estimating and project management, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Partner with the estimating team toprepare detailed and accurate cost estimatesfor construction projects.Review project plans, specifications, and contractsto identify risks, opportunities, and cost drivers.Collaborate withclients, project managers, architects, and subcontractorsto gather project requirements and ensure accurate estimates.Organize, research, and analyze data to developconceptual and detailed project estimates, pricing strategies, and bid schedules.Develop and maintaincost control measuresto support project budgets and financial goals.Solicit and negotiate pricingwith suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive material and service costs.Present and defend project estimates to clients and stakeholders, negotiating as needed.Participate inweekly construction department meetingsand project scheduling discussions.Track estimating performance metrics andreport insights to senior management.Experience inconstruction estimating and project management.Proficiency inconstruction takeoff and estimating software.Experience withMS OFFICEis a plus.
