Recreation and Maintenance Support Staff

Kick Back N Camp is hiring for a part time Campground Wrangler to provide maintenance and customer service support. If you enjoy the outdoors, the smell of a camp fire, and meeting new people, this is the summer job for you! The ideal candidate for this position will be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions and be capable of operating basic lawn care equipment and a gas powered golf cart. Candidates must be able to regularly lift between 30 to 60 pounds. The start date for this position would be March 30, 2026 through the first week of November 2026. We have day & evening shifts ranging between 4 to 8 hours between the hours of 9am and 8pm Sunday through Thursday and 9am through 9pm Friday and Saturday. ***Students are encouraged to apply, even if not available for the entire season*** Responsibilities include: Mowing, weed eating, weed spraying, raking as needed Hanging site markers Enforcing campground rules as needed Providing information regarding campground activities to campers and assisting with those activities Checking/emptying site trash cans and cleaning fire pits, cleaning up dog droppings or trash not disposed of properly Delivering firewood and ice to sites as needed Assisting with cleaning and stocking bathhouse daily Assisting with facility maintenance Job Types: Part-time, Temporary Pay: $10.00 per hour Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week Benefits: Employee discount Flexible schedule People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Ability to Commute: Belington, WV 26250 (Required) Work Location: In person
