Role Description We are seeking a dedicated Floor Layer to join our team on a full-time basis, working on-site in Sheffield, TX. Responsibilities include preparing subfloors, measuring and cutting flooring materials, laying and securing a variety of flooring types such as carpets, vinyl, laminates, and safety flooring. The role also involves using appropriate adhesives, ensuring a high-quality finish, and maintaining tools and equipment. You will work collaboratively to meet project deadlines and uphold safety and quality standards on all jobs. Qualifications Hands-on experience with flooring installation, including handling materials like carpet, vinyl, laminates, and rubber.Proficiency in accurate measurement, cutting, and use of tools for flooring installations, with attention to detail.Knowledge of subfloor preparation, adhesives, and the application of safety flooring.Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to industry standards.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to follow technical instructions or project plans.Physical fitness for manual labor and the ability to lift heavy materials when required.CSCS registration and prior experience in commercial or industrial flooring are strongly preferred.Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively on-site.
