Job SummaryThe candidate will join the product development team focused on advancing next-generation battery technologies. In this role, you will play a key part in evaluating cell-level technical specifications with Elementium’s electrolytes. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to drive experimental progress and support integration efforts in emerging battery technologies. Key Responsibilities· Deliver weekly technical reports to multidisciplinary R&D teams, summarizing test results, data analysis, and recommendations to guide project decisions.· Support experimental design by providing insights from testing data and collaborating on protocol development to optimize battery performance and reliability.· Manage cell efforts including assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of lithium-ion pouch cells in various applications.· Maintain strong adherence to safety protocols in all laboratory and testing activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.· Perform data analysis of cell life and electrolyte performance under diverse testing conditions (e.g., fast charge, high voltage, low/high temperatures, etc) and cell chemistries.· Document methodologies analysis techniques to ensure reproducibility and traceability in research processes. Qualifications· Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.· Hands-on experience with lithium-ion pouch cells, including fabrication, testing, and characterization is preferred.· Candidates with strong laboratory experience and skills, such as precise instrumentation handling, data collection, and experimental setup, will be strongly considered.Bonus Skills· Familiarity with Neware and Arbin battery cyclers and associated software for electrochemical testing and analysis.
