In addition, the position supports daily agronomy location operations, including mixing and blending chemicals and fertilizers, calibrating and operating equipment, assisting with product deliveries, and gaining hands-on experience with various operational procedures.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAssist agronomists in soil sampling, crop stand evaluation, tissue sampling, and weed, insect, and disease identification.Follow label instructions and orders when loading crop protection products, blending fertilizer, and when treating seed.Ensure safe, efficient, and accurate loading, unloading, and deliveries of products.Develop knowledge of proper maintenance procedures for facility equipment, as well as overall warehouse and plant operations.Assist with inventory management and processes.Adheres to all safety regulations, requirements, policies and procedures, including OSHA regulations, the vehicle policy and fleet safety program, and DOT regulations.Other duties as assigned.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSEnrollment towards relevant agriculture degree. Enrollment in an agronomy program is preferred.Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.Must be 18 years or older.English proficiency.Valid Driver's License.PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
