NSC Staffing has an immediate opening for a Counter Sales position in Sarasota, Florida. Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Pay rate $18.00-$20 hourlyPosition Overview: We are seeking a motivated and personable Counter Sales Representative to join our fast-paced metal supply operation. This role is responsible for assisting customers with product inquiries, processing orders, and providing excellent customer service through multiple channels including walk-in customers, phone calls, and website inquiriesThe ideal candidate is a go-getter with a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a busy environment while delivering exceptional service.Key Responsibilities:Assist walk-in customers with product selection, pricing, and order placementRespond to customer inquiries from phone calls, emails, and website submissionsProcess sales orders accurately and efficientlyProvide product information and recommendations based on customer needsCoordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely order fulfillmentMaintain strong customer relationships through professional and friendly serviceFollow up on quotes and inquiries to convert opportunities into salesSupport daily counter operations in a fast-paced metal distribution environmentQualifications:Previous counter sales, inside sales, or customer service experience preferredExperience in metal distribution, construction materials, or industrial products is a plusStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask and stay organized in a high-volume environmentProactive, self-motivated, and results-driven mindsetBasic computer skills and ability to learn order entry systemsPreferred:Bilingual (English/Spanish)Experience handling high-volume customer interactionsWhat We're Looking For:A great personality with strong customer service skillsSomeone who takes initiative and enjoys helping customersA team player who can keep up in a fast-paced environment NSC Staffing values our employees and is committed to offering meaningful employment in safe workplace conditions.
