IT Support Technician

We are seeking an IT Support Technician to join our team. The position will report to the Vicksburg Warren School District every day to provide support to the schools within the District. Typical services and responsibilities include but are not limited to: PC/Chromebook Operating System Troubleshooting PC/Chromebook Hardware Troubleshooting Printer/Scanner/Smartboard Troubleshooting Software Installation/Desktop Imaging PC/Chromebook Software Troubleshooting (may require software vendor support) Working from a different school each day Familiarity with WiFi and access points While at the assigned school, the tech will answer helpdesk tickets via phone calls and emails Assist staff with technology assets at the site of the day for verification Google Suite (Gsuite for education to manage chromebooks, apps, email, access, etc...) Experience using Excel spreadsheets for asset tracking Able to work well with others on a team Duty station in Vicksburg, MS 8-4:30 M-F excluding holidays Position has full benefits including medical, dental, 401K, vision, supplemental insurance, and vacation.
