This role ensures the team delivers accurate, timely, and cost-effective engineered solutions that align with customer requirements and business objectives.This position partners closely with Sales, Product Management, Continuous Improvement, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure all technical, commercial, and operational requirements are met. The manager is accountable for team performance, global coordination, process standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and profitability.Essential Duties & Responsibilities: To successfully perform this job, an individual must be able to fulfill each essential duty satisfactorily. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.Lead, manage, and develop the Sales Application Engineering team, including a remote international team, to ensure high performance, accountability, and consistent execution across all locationsCoordinate work across time zones and ensure effective communication, collaboration, and alignment between international team membersOversee the design and execution of client projects, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and company standardsEstablish priorities, allocate workload, and ensure timely completion of drawings, quotes, and proposalsPartner with Sales leadership to align on project expectations, timelines, and customer deliverablesReview and approve technical designs, bills of materials, and proposals for accuracy and completenessDrive consistency and standardization across design processes, tools, and outputsIdentify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve customer outcomesSupport complex or high visibility projects by providing technical guidance and problem-solving supportCollaborate with Product Management on new product development, product improvements, and application standardsPartner with Supply Chain and Operations to ensure designs are manufacturable, cost effective, and aligned with production capabilitiesMonitor team performance metrics including turnaround time, accuracy, and project throughputDevelop team capabilities through coaching, training, and performance managementParticipate in customer meetings and provide technical leadership as neededSupport field activities including site visits, measurements, and installation support as requiredEnsure alignment with company goals related to customer satisfaction, lead times, and profitabilityMust be able to travel up to 15%All other duties as assigned.Safety RequirementsComply with all OSHA, and company safety policies, procedures and requirementsReport unsafe conditions or practices to supervision to ensure prompt resolutionAttend scheduled safety trainingSupport the organization’s efforts to meet or exceed safety goalsRecommend improved safety practicesPractice safe work habits and proper use of equipment and PPEEnsure adherence to lockout procedures when applicableProduct Safety And QualityResponsible for supporting and complying with the company’s Integrated Management System, which aligns with ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environmental), and ISO 45001 (Health and Safety) standards.Promotes a culture of safety, quality, and environmental responsibility by following established IMS procedures aligned with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: (Include education, experience, special skills, licenses and/or certifications required.
