The Mechanical Technician II is responsible for contributing to the maintenance, repair, and improvement of mechanical systems and equipment in the facility. This role will work closely with engineers and other technicians to troubleshoot, interpret technical documents, schematics, and manuals, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the creation of machine programs and quoting for sheet metal fabrication.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
Work with various departments to identify any special requirement, tooling, CAD tools, and/or investments that may be required
Provide production support
Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system efficiency and reliability.
Provide support to others within the organization.
Ensure the promotion of customer focus throughout the organization.
Other Responsibilities
Provide technical support to peers
Attend technical or trade show meetings, read related publications and continue to achieve engineering excellence
Suggest areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions
Provide technical support and oversight for projects
Education | Experience
Associate's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and instrumentation.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and interpreting technical documentation.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Solid Modeling CAD experience
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
High mechanical aptitude
Hands on manufacturing or repair experience is preferred

Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive Salary :$55,000.00 - $75,000.00 DOE
